Joy to the World

Hi all egoCraft fans!

We´re closing up to Christmas and it´s time to finish off the Christmas Cards and send them to your loved ones. Today I hope I can inspire you with a set of cards created with this lovely Winter Time border set.

I created two cards with different color schems using the borders as part of the focal point. First out a green one:

For this card I used the smaller of the two borders and painted it golden to fit in with the rest of the decorations. 

I put the borders side to side so they form snow flakes. And if you look closely you can see that pieces from it that I cut loose for a perfect fit, hidden under the flower cluster. 

For me second card I decided to go all red and grey. I used the bigger borders and kept them natural. I also spaced them keeping the cluster in between for a "bigger" effect.

Card "Christmas Rose"

Hello egoCraft fans!

I continue the Christmas Card parade in this blog today! This season, well who does not love making cards for your loved ones? The one I´m showing you today has one of my absolute fav egoCraft chipboards on it - a layered flower.

The flower has 3 layeres and looks awesome as main focal poin on a card.

I painted the flower in red before assembling it. The leaves was painted grey. To add shimmer I distressed them with silver wax. Love how it turend out!

Kartka przywołująca wiosnę :)

Witajcie!

W dzisiejszej inspiracji na przekór brzydkiej pogodzie chcę przywołać wiosnę. Przygotowałam kwiecistą kartkę z ręcznie robionymi kwiatami, kompozycję uzupełniłam koronkami oraz pięknymi tekturkowymi zawijaskami z kolekcji Sea Stories Lux.

W kompozycji wykorzystałam zestaw Sea Stories Lux:

Witajcie,

Dziś w ramach pierwszej inspiracji chciałabym przedstawić Wam

 kartkę na szczęście :)

Kompozycję zbudowałam z ręcznie robionych papierowych kwiatów,

uzupełniłam ją wycinanymi elementami,

kilkoma różyczkami WOC i dwuwarstwowymi

 tekturkowymi kwiatkami.

Nie zabrakło też koniczynek - zgodnie z okazją ;)

Całość opiera się na pięknej tekturkowej ramce -  linki do użytych tekturek znajdziecie na dole posta :)

Soft summer card

Hi everyone!

Today I´m showing you a card with summer feeling. Here in the north of Sweden it is what we call pre-summer. The nights are light - sun never sets - and the foliage outside is light green and the flowers bloom in soft pink, whites & beige. The light outside - especially at 12 in the night is just magical. This was my inspiration for this birthday card.

I used a circular chipboard frame as the focal point of my card, then added soft colored flowers and painted two chipboard leave in a bright green that go well with the patterned paper. The chipboard frame was painted in a nougat metallic color. I pretty much love how it turned out - do you?

Birthday Card by Marie

Hi sweet egoCraft fans! As June is our big birthday month (yes 8 birthdays in June...) I´m going to terrorize you with a birthday cards this month. This first one is a flowerful and really happy one crated for my sister in law (her birthday is actually today). 

I loved working with the Mintay collection "Farmlife" - love the delicate flowers on it. I picked up the turquoise in the paper and painted the chipboard foliage and bug that color. Love how they turned out. 

I did not have a birthday sentiment in chipboard so I die cut one out on thick paper and painted it the same way as the chipboard. It actually looks like chipboard after...
